Skincare isn’t just about what products you use — it’s about when and how you use them. Your skin has different needs during the day versus at night, and building routines around those needs makes all the difference.
The Morning Routine (AM)
Step 1: Gentle face wash — Remove overnight skincare and prep skin.
Step 2: Vitamin C serum — Antioxidant protection for the day ahead.
Step 3: Light moisturiser — Hydrate and seal in the serum.
Step 4: SPF 50+ sunscreen — Always the last step. Always.
The Night Routine (PM)
Step 1: Double cleanse — Oil cleanser first to remove SPF and makeup, then face wash.
Step 2: Treatment serum — Niacinamide, hyaluronic acid, or retinol (on alternate nights).
Step 3: Rich moisturiser — Night creams are typically richer to support skin repair overnight.
Step 4: Eye cream (optional) — If targeting fine lines or dark circles.
The Golden Rule
Apply products from thinnest to thickest consistency. And give each layer 60 seconds to absorb before applying the next.
